DESCRIPTION:Want to increase your knowledge of wines perfectly paired for Fall and Winter Holiday hosting?\n\n\nCome have a blast learning about some wonderful Holiday varietals and small bites that pair nicely with these wines. Wine and food pairing is an intricate art that requires a keen understanding of the flavors and textures of both.  Come learn the basics to start you on your journey of finding what combinations work best for your palate. \nWine tastings at The Joyful Gourmet are a lot of fun – we’ll sample 6 wines\, have some small bites (not every wine will have a pairing) to learn about food pairings\, then end with time to enjoy a full pour of your favorite and mingle. Sommelier & Wine Consultant\, Yvonne Jones\, will host this event. \nThis will not be a full meal\, so we recommend making  a 5 or 530pm reservation at one of the MANY terrific restaurants in downtown Libertyville and be here at 7! \n\n\n\n\nWines featured at the tasting will be available for purchase by the bottle or case at a discount – these will be prices lower than you can get anywhere\, and some amazing unusual wines that typically fall into the $25-70 range.
