Chef Liz has deep knowledge of traditional Mexican breads (“pan dulce”\, etc.) — the kinds of breads many home bakers haven’t made before. You’ll get hands‑on experience: shaping dough\, working with specific kinds of sugars\, topping\, flavors\, and textures that are characteristic of Mexican bread. You’ll get techniques that carry over into other baking: yeast handling\, proofing\, shaping\, finishing\, flavor balancing. Troubleshooting: knowing what to do if dough is too wet\, not rising well\, or browning too fast\, etc. \nThis interactive class is a wonderful opportunity to explore the rich flavors of Mexican baking while enjoying a fun\, creative environment! \nParticipation: Hands On! \nMenu:  \n\n\nConchas : A concha consists of two parts\, a sweetened bread roll\, and a crunchy topping. \n\n\nCuerno Polveado : Resembles a croissant in shape but has a richer\, less flaky dough. \n\n\nChampurrado : A thick\, warm\, sweet\, and earthy Mexican Beverage: think Hot Chocolate! \n\n\nChef: Liz Tinajero \nCoffee and Tea are complimentary.  Wine\, beer\, soda\, and San Pelligrino can be purchased at the wine bar. \n10% off all regularly priced merchandise during the event.
