SUMMARY:Wine Tasting with Sommelier Pierre Asti
DESCRIPTION:Our first wine rule here at The Joyful Gourmet is drink what you enjoy.  So if you want a big dry cabernet sauvignon – have it and enjoy!  But as summer approaches\, there definitely are some wines that are more suitable for summer meals and warmer weather.  But that doesn’t mean just white wines!\n\nSommelier Pierre Asti will be back to lead the group through an evening of 2 whites\, an elegant upscale rose\, and 2 reds – learning more about what you are drinking\, refining what you enjoy and maybe expanding your palate – “I didn’t know I loved a huge Zinfandel!”    Small bites will be served throughout the tasting so you pick up some tips on wine and food pairings – and how certain foods truly enhance your wine and vice versa.\n\nAs always we’ll finish with a pour of your favorite & have some time for mingling.\n\nThis will not be a meal – only light bites to explore wine and food pairings.\n\nWines features at the tasting will be available for purchase by the bottle or case at a disounnt.
