Together, we’ll explore a thoughtfully crafted menu that balances comfort and elegance. Start with a hearty farro salad, packed with texture and flavor. Warm up with a rich seafood bisque made with shrimp and crab, full of depth and coastal flair. For the main course, enjoy braised whitefish finished with a silky beurre blanc sauce and bright gremolata for the perfect finishing touch. We’ll wrap things up on a sweet note with a surprisingly indulgent avocado chocolate mousse.

Whether you’re here to sharpen your skills or simply have fun in the kitchen, this experience is all about great food, great company, and learning in a no-pressure environment. Come hungry, leave inspired.

Participation Cooking Class: Aprons and workstations will be set up for you while your Chef-Instructor walks you through each course and giving you lots of tips and tricks along the way.

Knife Skills and Sauce 101 Class: Hands on knife skills experience and learn techniques to make two sauces that pair wonderfully with seafood.

If you cannot make your reservation, we do encourage you to attempt to find someone that would enjoy attending. We can only issue a credit for you to attend a future event (6 month expiration). Within 72 hours we are not able to offer a credit as we’ve already incurred food and help costs.

Food is my life! I attended culinary school at the College of Dupage, received a bachelor degree in Culinary Arts at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and masters in Education from Kaplan University. After a restaurant circuit I’ve been executive chef for various companies and institutions. I am currently a director of Food Service at a retirement home and I still teach culinary arts at the college of Lake County - which I love. I’ve traveled extensively and love picking up cooking techniques and flavors. There’s almost nothing I can’t cook but my favorite is classical French. I love cooking, teaching and sharing a great evening with our guests!
