Warm up with an inviting seasonal menu as Chef Lee Kuebler returns to The Joyful Gourmet for a delicious celebration of winter cooking.

In this chef-led class, Lee will share professional techniques, helpful kitchen tips, and approachable ideas for bringing restaurant-quality flavor to your own table. From a creamy winter squash risotto scented with fresh sage to a beautifully roasted whole chicken accompanied by earthy celery root and a bright, crisp apple-fennel slaw, this menu is all about comforting flavors with an elegant seasonal touch.

For dessert, enjoy tender sliced poached pears tucked inside flaky, golden puff pastry—a beautiful finish that’s just as impressive as it is delicious.

Come gather around our kitchen, enjoy a wonderful meal, and spend an evening cooking, learning, and connecting with Chef Lee and fellow food lovers.

One glass of wine or beer is included with the event.  Additional glasses are available for purchase at the wine bar.

If you cannot make your reservation, we do encourage you to attempt to find someone that would enjoy attending. We can only issue a credit for you to attend a future event (6 month expiration). Within 72 hours we are not able to offer a credit as we’ve already incurred food and help costs.

Lee Kuebler

Chef Lee Kuebler is a long-time Lake County resident, growing up here and raising his family. He is a graduate of the Kendall College School of Culinary Arts, has traveled extensively picking up ethnic flavors and cuisines and owned/operated a series of successful restaurants here in Lake County. Chef Lee is the adoring dad of 2 super energetic and wonderful kiddos.
