Calling all little bakers and book lovers! Join us at The Joyful Gourmet for a cozy, hands-on cooking adventure that brings together a great story, fresh apples, and the joy of baking. We’ll even talk about which apples make the best pies and why.
Our young chefs will start in the kitchen, where they’ll slice apples, roll out pie dough, and assemble their very own apple pie to bake and take home.
Next, it’s time for an ice cream making! Kids will whip up their very own ice cream.
While the delicious smell of apple pie fills the kitchen, we’ll gather for storytime with a special apple-themed book while enjoying a slice of apple pie ala mode.
At the end of class, each child will head home with the apple pie they made themselves, ready to share with their family—or proudly enjoy on their own!
Perfect for ages 5–9, this class combines cooking, reading, tasting, and learning for a sweet and memorable experience at The Joyful Gourmet.
Kid’s Participation Drop-Off Class: Aprons and workstations will be set up for you while your Chef-Instructor walks you through each course and giving you lots of tips and tricks along the way.
