Chef Liz is joining me in my pursuit to make cooking easy, delicious and fast and at the same time elevate your skills to make cooking fun and hassle free
Casual Cuisine is a new class I’ll be teaching twice a month on Tuesday nights. Â The menu will focus on easy weeknight meals that are full of flavor yet not take hours to prepare. Â Each class you will learn some basic knife skills, cooking techniques, and tricks of trade to make cooking fun and easy. Â Most classes will be full participation yet there might be come exceptions due to time constraints. Â I hope you will join me for a fun night out with friends and leave class with new ones.

Maybe I’m jumping the gun a bit when offering Spring Desserts, but considering Minnesota has 4 ft of snow and Libertyville feels like spring, I might be safe.
Our Pastry Chef Liz would like to introduce you to three Spring Desserts that are easy to make, look pretty, and taste delicious, three important components in any dessert.
First is a Lemon Orange Chiffon Cake – this is light in consistency yet the flavor of Lemon and orange that still feels present and forward.
Second is a Fruit Tart – this tart will catch the eye of dessert lovers because of its colors from a variety of fruits, the glaze from Raspberry jam, a filling of Cream cheese & powdered sugar, and the crust with its fluted edges.
The third is a Raspberry mousse – light, fluffy, a simple dessert for after a summer meal…..or a great dessert to bring to a party, travels well.
Hands on
