Full Participation
Casual Cuisine is a new class Chef Judy will be teaching twice a month on Tuesday nights. The menu will focus on easy weeknight meals that are full of flavor but don’t take hours to prepare. Each class you will learn basic knife skills, cooking techniques, and tricks of the trade to make cooking fun and easy. Most classes will be full participation, but there might be come exceptions due to time constraints. We hope you will join us for a fun night out with friends and maybe even leave class with new ones!
Is this not comfort food?! Chicken pot pie is one of Chef Judy’s all-time favorite meals to make, even in the summer months. You can use a double crust like a ‘pie’, or puff pastry for just the top. Either way, that rich creamy sauce with chicken and vegetables is so delicious!
In this class, we’ll be making individual pot pies to enjoy right away and you’ll go home with a recipe to make a full pie and a full crust.
We’ll make a hearty winter salad with Farro, and a Parsnip cake with Cream cheese frosting…..you’ll be surprised at this one.
A glass of wine will be served with this dinner. Coffee, water and tea are complimentary. Participants receive 10% off all in store purchases during the class!
