Classic French Onion Soup with French Pastry Dessert

Chef Liz and Chef Judy are back at it making something sweet and savory for a Saturday lunch.

Chef Judy will show you how to make French Onion soup from scratch, top with a homemade crouton and Gruyere cheese, so delicious.

What you’ll learn: Creating a “fond” (the french term for using the pan drippings to create a brown sauce – the base of french onion soup), getting the flavor right (not too salty), Gruyere cheese versus Parmesan, timing

Chef Liz will dive into your sweet tooth to show you how to make a French Jelly Roll that will please the pickiest dessert aficionado.

What you’ll learn: The right batter consistency,  rolling up the cake so it does’t crack, variety of fillings for any occasion.

The class will include a simple salad and a cocktail made with North Shore distillery Spirits.

Tea and Coffee are complimentary.

There will be light participation for all guests.

Reservations can be changed or cancelled for full refund up to 5 days prior to the event date. At 5 days we can only refund 50%, or move your reservation to an already scheduled event that has availability.
