What you’ll learn: Creating a “fond” (the french term for using the pan drippings to create a brown sauce – the base of french onion soup), getting the flavor right (not too salty), Gruyere cheese versus Parmesan, timing
Chef Liz will dive into your sweet tooth to show you how to make a French Jelly Roll that will please the pickiest dessert aficionado.
What you’ll learn: The right batter consistency, rolling up the cake so it does’t crack, variety of fillings for any occasion.
The class will include a simple salad and a cocktail made with North Shore distillery Spirits.
