Día de los Muertos Baking: A Hands-On Baking Experience
Celebrate Día de los Muertos through the warmth, aromas, and cherished flavors of Mexican baking. This hands-on class explores traditional treats associated with the season while giving you the opportunity to learn new baking techniques and the meaning behind these special foods.
You’ll get hands-on preparing Pan de Muerto, the beautifully shaped, lightly sweet bread traditionally made for Día de los Muertos; stir up a warm and comforting Champurrado; and make chewy, golden Cocadas for a sweet finish.
Whether you’re an experienced baker or picking up a mixing bowl for the first time, come ready to learn, create, and enjoy a delicious experience together at The Joyful Gourmet.
Participation Cooking Class: Aprons and workstations will be set up for you while your Chef-Instructor walks you through each course and giving you lots of tips and tricks along the way.
