I’ve seen these Japanese pancakes from afar, though never had the opportunity to make or even try them. Chef Laura is going to teach you how to make these unique fluffy souffle pancakes along with two other varieties of more traditional cakes to serve up for breakfast, brunch or dinner.
Pancakes three ways will be taught. You will make traditional buttermilk pancakes, the fluffiest Japanese souffle pancakes, and high protein oat pancakes served with macerated berries.
You will learn how to properly make pancake batters, and how to make them fluffy. The Japanese technique you will learn will produce the lightest and fluffiest pancake possible. We carry a variety of maple syrups that will be available to try.
Mimosas and a protein will be served alongside the pancakes.
