Mini Meals: Cooking Camp (Ages 8-11)

Monday: Breakfast- Fluffy Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs & Bacon, Fruit & Yogurt Parfaits

Tuesday: Pizza – Homemade Pizza Dough, Tomato Sauce, Assembling & Baking Pizza

Wednesday: Dessert – Sugar Cookies with Royal Icing, Chocolate Mug Cakes, Fruit Kabobs with Honey Yogurt Dip

Thursday: Tacos – Homemade Tortillas, Taco Filling, Guacamole & Salsa

Friday: Pasta – Handmade Pasta Dough, Simple Tomato Sauce, Fresh Pasta Cooking

Students will enhance their culinary skills and gain confidence in the kitchen while having a blast. Join us from Monday to Friday, 9am-12pm, for a class full of fun and flavors.

Secure your child’s spot now for an experience they’ll never forget in our Mini Meals Camp! Only 14 seats available, book with a friend before it sells out.

Participation: Hands On!

Camp is Monday through Friday from 9:00am – 12:00pm.  Doors open at 8:45am. Must be able to participate in all 5 days.  No partial refunds will be available.

If you cannot make your reservation, we do encourage you to attempt to find someone that would enjoy attending. We can only issue a credit for you to attend a future event (6 month expiration). Within 72 hours we are not able to offer a credit as we’ve already incurred food and help costs.

Mickey Knutson

Michael ‘Mickey’ Knutson is a 17-year Chicago culinary veteran and creative professional with a wealth of knowledge & experience in high-level cuisine, service, and leadership. His career turns have ranged from intimate, chef-driven kitchens to expansive catering & events operations; high-volume American bistro and barbecue to upscale seafood and steakhouse brigades. He has a particular loving interest in the traditional foldaways of the American South and Northwestern Europe. Mickey lives in Rogers Park with his wife Laura and their three daughters.
