There has been some interested in doing an all vegetarian class, so I choose a menu thats satisfying to even the meat eaters in your life.
We will start with making some home made pasta from scratch, its’s such an easy process to make but it does take time….lots of kneading.
You will make two tomato tarts, one with bacon and one with chopped portobello mushrooms in replace of bacon, we’ll add some smokey seasonings to bring out that flavor. This is the kind of tart you can whip up in 30 min with puff pastry.
Next will be the a Maple glazed carrot salad with arugula and the final dish, our Primevara with Tomatoes, Asparagus, and shiitake Mushrooms in a light red sauce.
There will be some hands-on cooking for guests who want to participate.
A glass of wine will be serve with dinner.
