Light Participation Class
It’s Friday! Time for a delicious lunch as we head into the weekend. It’s the best time to grab some friends, find a great place to relax, enjoy a good meal and a cocktail. We are ‘that’ place! Chef Liz imagined a delicious menu for this chilly wintertime lunch that will get you out of the house. Chef will guide you through making Corn Tostadas from scratch, creating the dough and using a tortilla press, and making a savory De Tinga to atop your tortilla. For dessert, we’ll learn how to create a traditional Mexican Flan! To accompany this delicious meal, Chef will combine the freshest ingredients to make Palomas for your lunch sips. Not interested in a Paloma? Other drinks are available, including various wines from our Wine Bar.

Tostadas: Toasted corn tortillas which serve as the ‘main base’ with de Tinga, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, Queso Fresco cheese and avocado on top.
De Tinga: Shredded chicken in a spiced sauce made from tomatoes, chipotle chilis in adobo, and sliced onions. It is often served on a tostada and accompanied by a layer of refried beans.
Mexican Flan: Custard dessert with a layer of clear caramel sauce.
Palomas: Fresh grapefruit, tequila, lime, simple syrup, and soda will create the delicious Paloma.
