Kids can cook too!  Bring your teen to The Joyful Gourmet for one of our Summer Camps. The kids will learn kitchen basics, food prep and some knife work, cooking and baking techniques, flavor profiles and bake a bunch of great recipes!
This is a 5 day drop-off series, 10am-12 noon and targeted for kids aged 12 and above.  The kids will all make all the recipes – some individual work and working in small groups, and will eat lunch each day as part of the camp.
Monday – Bake macaroni and cheese, cornbread muffin with honey butter, and potato chip cookies
Tuesday – Layer Taco Bake Casserole, salsa with chips, and mini tres leche cake
Wednesday – Chicken alfredo with homemade fettuccine noodles, garlic bread, and berry tiramisu
Thursday – Chicken ramen, pork and chives dumplings, and miso butter cookies.
Friday – Bacon Cheese burger stuffed biscuit bombs, garlic parmesan oven roasted potato wedges, and strawberry shortcake with whipped cream
Please let us know ahead of time if your teen has allergies. We cannot accommodate changes to the menu once the week has begun.
