Wine Tasting with Sommelier Pierre Asti – Tour of Summer Wines & Food Pairings

Come have a blast learning about some wines that are great for the summer hot weather and some food pairings that go with these wines. Food and wine pairing is an extensive art, but even some fairly basic understanding can really enhance a meal.

Wine tastings at The Joyful Gourmet are a lot of fun – we’ll sample 6 wines, have some small bites to learn about food pairings, then end with time to enjoy a full pour of your favorite and mingle. Sommelier Pierre Asti will host this event.

This will not be a full meal, so recommend to grab a 5 or 530 reservation at one of the MANY awesome restaurants in downtown Libertyville and be here at 7!

Wines featured at the tasting will be available for purchase by the bottle or case at a discount – these will be prices lower than you can get anywhere, and some amazing unusual wines that typically fall into the $30-60 range.

If you cannot make your reservation, we do encourage you to attempt to find someone that would enjoy attending. We can only issue a credit for you to attend a future event (6 month expiration). Within 72 hours we are not able to offer a credit as we’ve already incurred food and help costs.
