Our chef-instructor, Mickey, will guide you through every step of the cooking process, from ingredient selection to cooking techniques, ensuring that you leave with both new skills and a full stomach.

Perfect for home cooks of all levels, this class invites you to get your hands dirty, share tips with fellow food lovers, and discover the warmth and hospitality that is at the heart of Midwestern cooking. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, you’ll walk away with new recipes to try at home and a deeper appreciation for this region’s culinary traditions.

Menu:

  • Wisconsin Beer Cheese Soup: A rich and creamy soup made with a variety of Wisconsin cheeses and a hearty beer base. It’s perfect for warming up on a cold day, and the beer adds depth and flavor to the cheese.
  • Potato Pancakes: Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, these are made with grated potatoes, onions, and a touch of seasoning, they’re the ultimate savory comfort food.
  • Roasted Pork Tenderloin with Apple Brandy Sauce: A juicy, perfectly roasted pork tenderloin paired with a tangy-sweet apple brandy sauce. The sweetness of the apples and the richness of the pork create a perfect balance.
  • Sautéed Sauerkraut: A slightly tangy, savory dish with a bit of crunch, sautéing sauerkraut brings out its natural sweetness and complexity, and it pairs wonderfully with this menu.

Hands-On – Participation Cooking Class: Aprons and workstations will be set up for you while your Chef-Instructor walks you through each course and giving you lots of tips and tricks along the way.
