Full Participation
Casual Cuisine is a new class Chef Judy will be teaching twice a month on Tuesday nights. The menu will focus on easy weeknight meals that are full of flavor but don’t take hours to prepare. Each class you will learn basic knife skills, cooking techniques, and tricks of the trade to make cooking fun and easy. Most classes will be full participation, but there might be come exceptions due to time constraints. We hope you will join us for a fun night out with friends and maybe even leave class with new ones!
You will learn to make easy eggplant parmesan tower with goat cheese, ricotta, basil.
We offer a delicious imported pasta in the store that we’ll cook up for a soft bed to put our eggplant.
We will talk about sauce and make a homemade batch of marinara sauce that can be divided and frozen for later use- a good sauce to make on a Sunday afternoon.
We love a meal with good bread, so each of you will make my Grandmother’s Irish soda bread with buttermilk, oh so good, I think it goes with everything.
No meal is complete without something sweet, so you will make a moist chocolate cake that has a secret ingredient that may surprise you! Served with vanilla-infused Crème fraîche.
A glass of wine and a small charcuterie board will be served with this dinner. Coffee, water and tea are complimentary. Participants receive 10% off all in store purchases during the class!
