Join us for an exciting start to our Local Chef Series of Cooking and Baking experiences at The Joyful Gourmet!
Experience the art of authentic Italian cannoli-making with Tony from Tony Cannoli in Mundelein! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn to craft the perfect cannoli shell and fill it with your choice of delicious fillings. Tony will guide you through each step, sharing tips and techniques to create these classic treats.
To complement your creations, enjoy a curated wine flight, thoughtfully paired to enhance the experience. Whether you’re a Cannoli Connoisseur or a Cannoli Rookie, this class promises a fun and flavorful experience.
Menu: Each participant receives a piece of dough that we roll into 3 cannoli. Tony’s family recipe is not provided, but he will explain all the techniques necessary to make the shells.

Hands-On – Participation Cooking Class: Aprons and workstations will be set up for you while your Chef-Instructor walks you through each course and giving you lots of tips and tricks along the way.
Wine Flight is included with the event for those 21+. Three 2oz pours.
Additional glasses are available for purchase at the wine bar.

If you cannot make your reservation, we do encourage you to attempt to find someone that would enjoy attending. We can only issue a credit for you to attend a future event (6 month expiration). Within 72 hours we are not able to offer a credit as we’ve already incurred food and help costs.
